Six Flags Great Adventure Goes Solar!

Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson is becoming one of the first solar-powered theme parks!

They have partnered with KDC Solar to create a 23.5-megawatt solar farm, which is responsible for powering most of the theme park! Six Flags says this isn't the first step the park has taken to be eco-friendly - they recycle more than 60% of annual waste and have started using furniture products made of recycled plastic.

Six Flags Great Adventure Park President John Winkler said: "We are continually searching for new ways to operate more efficiently and enhance our role as good stewards of the environment."
