It's on top of parents' minds that their kids are safe.  I'd like to find out if parents think their child's school is safe.

According to the patch.com, Central Regional High School and Middle School recently said they feel their school is safe. Central Regional has a police officer on campus along with Berkeley Twp. schools. As a parent of a child in Berkeley Twp. School District, I feel their security is very good.

Is it too much to ask for a police officer at ever school, not just High School?  I realize several school districts in Ocean County or surrounding counties have a lot of Elementary schools.  Moms and Dads would you feel more at ease.  Also, just because of an officer being there, doesn't mean that nothing will happen.  But will you feel more safe?

I would like to see if any schools in the Jersey Shore area will take security to the next level since the shooting in FL.  Our hearts were broken earlier this week with another horrific school shooting.

How can we make our schools safer?  Is having an officer there enough?
