For me, it's always a good chance that if I go to a ballgame, it's going to be a good old-fashioned hot dog with mustard or maybe chili or maybe sauerkraut. All of the aforementioned toppings sound great.

I think hot dogs would probably be the number one food item at baseball games around the nation. I just googled that, and yes, I am right, hot dog is king at baseball games across the country.

The menus at ballparks have come a long way, and now there are many different foods to try at the ballpark. So I went to ShoreTown Ballpark, home of the Jersey Shore BlueClaws, the Minor League affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, and went around the stadium to pick my Top 5 foods.

What Are The Top 5 Foods At ShoreTown Ballpark?

  1. The Foot-Long Hot Dog: This monster dog is located at Smokie's Sausage and Dogs, located along the 3rd base side of the concourse. If you don't mind a bit of a mess, go for the chili cheese dog! Classic choice!
  2. Pork Roll Sandwich: Along the first base side of the concourse is the Taylor Pork Roll Stand. My brother got the pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwich, and he said it did not disappoint.
  3. Pizza! Stop by Marinella's Crust Station in right field for a slice or two or three of their delicious pizza!
  4. ShoreTown Tacos: Crave a taco and a beer? Stop by and grab some tacos! Located along the first base side of the concourse.
  5. Ice Cream Helmet: Have a sweet treat and keep a souvenir BlueClaws helmet. Choose Dippin' Dots, Hand Dipped Ice Cream, or Philadelphia Water Ice.

So there you go, my personal picks for 5 foods to try at ShoreTown Ballpark. What's your favorite when you go to the park?
