New Jersey's Matchmaker, former Giants RB will be on 'Shore Time'

What did you think of the first episode of 'Shore Time with Vin and Dave' on Sunday?

Dave Crossan and I were excited to get the first show under our belts and discuss some key topics and have a little fun along the way as well.

We also had some great guests on our first show: former Monmouth County Prosecutor Chris Gramiccioni and his wife Deb who is a former Superior Court Judge/Federal and State Prosecutor in hour number one and then we had Tim McLoone, who owns several restaurants in Monmouth County, on in hour number two of the show.

With where our second show falls -- the day before Valentine's Day and on Super Bowl Sunday itself -- we felt it would be super timely to have these two particular guests on this weekend: New Jersey's Matchmaker/Dating Coach/Professional Love Coach Julianne Cantarella and Lacey High School football Alumni and former NFL running back, Keith Elias.

To help set the stage for this big Super Bowl Sunday-Valentine's Day Eve edition of 'Shore Time with Vin and Dave', here is a little bit about our incoming guests.

Keith Elias was an All-American running back at Lacey High School under legendary Shore Conference Coach Lou Vircillo before graduating in 1990 and then becoming an All-American running back at Princeton University.

Elias signed with the New York Giants as an un-drafted free agent heading into the 1994 season and spent three seasons with Big Blue before going to the Indianapolis Colts for two seasons in 1998 and 1999, according to Pro-Football Reference

In 2001, he played for the New York/New Jersey Hitmen in the XFL.

In a previous interview/story with Townsquare Media News/Shore Sports Network, Elias told us how much impact Lacey football Coach Lou Vircillo meant to his development and career.

"He taught me how to workout and gave me my first workout plan and he taught me how to run the football," Elias previously told Shore Sports Network. "When everybody was saying run to daylight, he would say 'don't run to daylight, daylight is going to close real fast on those upper levels. You run to your downfield help, you find that wide receiver, you find that guard and get to his back'...and that changed how I ran the ball. That made 4-yard runs become 40 and 80-yard runs."
