Seen him? Lumberton bank robbery suspect is on the run
The thief who held up a bank in Lumberton Tuesday afternoon is on the loose, for now - but a few crystal-clear surveillance images and might help investigators track him down.
According to Lumberton PD Chief Anthony DiLoreto, the individual walked into the PNC branch on Eayrestown Road at about 2:20 PM on March 7, displaying no weapon but warning the teller that he was armed.
After seizing cash, he ran south on Eayrestown Road, forcing police and officials in several schools to launch shelter-in-place procedures for students, faculty and school staffers.
If you recognize him, or are aware of the robbery, you're urged to call Lumberton PD's Special Investigation Bureau, 609-267-1111, extension 119 or 121.
