Seaside Park has joined the list of Ocean County communities to share detailed reopening plans ahead of the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend.

Similar to Seaside Heights, Seaside Park is going with a phased reopening plan with Phase I going from May 18th - June 28th and Phase II from June 29th forward.

The Borough of Seaside Park released a thorough press release today, which you can read on their Facebook page, but here are the main points:

All times starting May 18th

  • Public events have been cancelled until further notice
  • The boardwalk and beaches will be opened
  • Social distancing will be enforced and groups will be limited to fewer than 10 people
  • Beach badge sales will open at the Beach Control building between N and O Streets. No cash will be accepted
  • Daily beach badge sales will be monitored and limited as needed

Phase I - May 18th - June 28th

  • Starting on Saturday, May 23rd, beach badges will be required to get on the beach
  • Beach badges will be required weekends only
  • Lifeguards will be on duty weekends only

Phase II - June 29th forward

  • Beach badges will be required 7-days a week
  • Lifeguards will be on duty 7-days a week
