ALERT! This Scam Looks To Rob You Of Your Health Benefits
It seems like everywhere you look, someone is trying to pull a scam. Whether it's fake news, inaccurate social media, or money scams, there are a lot of scams out there today looking to take your property.

What Are Some Of The Latest Financial Scams To Avoid?
Just the other day, I received an email that made me do a double-take because this alert said my health fund had been compromised, and my "health flex" spending account was gone!
Above is the email alert I received, and yes, it alarmed us that the money we had set aside for health spending for 2026 was gone. At the same time, my second thought was that we haven't spent health dollars! So before I jumped for the bait, I decided to go straight to the financial institution.
Instead of "clicking" on the "phishing scam", I called the financial institution and got my balance. WOW! It appears my money is there, and no, my balance wasn't zero! So I avoided getting hacked and saved my hard-earned money.
What is a Phishing Scam?
A phishing scam is when someone pretends to be a trusted company or person to trick you into giving up personal information. It usually comes as a rushed email or text with a fake problem, hoping you’ll click a link and share things like passwords or credit card details.
Next time you get an alarming email or text, take a moment to evaluate before jumping to conclusions. Contact the people you trust and investigate before you fall victim to the "scam".
