Our First Visit To The JBJ Soul Kitchen Red Bank

Even though it has been around for a while we had never visited the JBJ (Jon Bon Jovi) Soul Kitchen in Monmouth County in Red Bank. We were in the area this weekend and decided to see if we could get in and have "brunch" there. Much to our delight, they did have seating (inside table because it was 90*outside). Their Sunday brunch was a three-course meal.

My Review of the JBJ Soul Kitchen Red Bank

The staff was very friendly and explained how the menu worked and how we could "pay it forward" and by doing so, someone in need of food could eat a hot and nutritious meal. We began with a great glass of ice-cold iced tea and we chose the pasta fagioli soup, yes I know it was a hot day, but I never pass up a bowl of pasta fagioli lol. The service was prompt and all the folks working were kind enough to volunteer their time and talent, well done by the staff. Next, we had our main course, we ordered an eggplant pesto panini and a frittata with spinach, goat cheese and I think Swiss chard. Both dishes were delicious and came with potatoes, sweet potato, cole slaw, and salad. Check out the photos below of the food and see for yourself what a treat it was. We finished with delicious desserts, lemon cake with cream cheese frosting and an apple cake with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. Coffee was also good and ended our meal with a smile on our faces. The restaurant looks great, clean, and inviting. As they say "everyone is welcome at their table". Overall we had a great experience and yes "Hope is Delicious". The menu changes so check to see what they are currently serving.
