Unplugged was a fantastic "acoustic" show that MTV aired with various artists

On this day in History ( 1990 ) MTV aired its first edition of their "Unplugged" series .... Do you remember who the first group was ? It was Squeeze !

The underlying concept behind the Unplugged series has been attributed to the popularity among musicians of a variety of informal musical performances on stage, film, television and record in earlier decades.
