It will be officially 40-years this Tuesday that the non-profit Lunch Break, based in Red Bank, started their mission to help individuals and families find food, comfort, and so much more to get back on their feet again.

Dr. Carol Penn has been board member with this amazing non-profit helping so many across Monmouth County and additionally, has so many special stories to share with all of us.

She joined us this morning on 'Shore Time with Vin and Dave' on 94.3 The Point where we helped celebrate their 40th anniversary but also dove in to all the services provided by Lunch Break to the community, how you can get involved volunteering or donating, and what we can all do to help spread their message and mission.

Sometimes all it takes is just talking about what they do, you never know who needs their services or who has a special skill set that can help as well.
