Pumpkin Spice Lattes Will Be Back for 2020

Lots of things have been canceled in 2020 - but if there's one thing we can be sure will return, it's Pumpkin Spice Lattes.

That's right - Starbucks will be bringing back the fall-themed drink this year. I first heard of the news from Tiffany from our sister station 94.5 PST! I have always been one of those people who doesn't like to rush summer, and I give an eye roll when I see people posting about Halloween on social media in August, BUT, when it comes to Pumpkin Spice Lattes, the sooner the better for me!

Here's the one "bummer" - we don't know when the delicious drink will be returning yet. But, I was talking to my friend about this, and she mentioned she saw a countdown for PSL in her local Starbucks in a Harris Teeter grocery store in Harrisburg, North Carolina! As of today, (July 31st), the countdown says 25 more days - that would be on August 25th. Of course, we don't know anything for sure until Starbucks makes an official statement, but fingers crossed we'll see similar countdowns here at the Jersey Shore. I know I'll be on the lookout. An article from Delish says that last year, the drink returned on August 27th - which is close to what the countdown said! Hopefully, it's true, but, since we don't know when the beloved pumpkin drink will return for sure, the best we can do right now is wait patiently.
