Post Sandy Recovery Continues With a Big Friday Event

As Ocean County continues to recover and rebuild in the months after Hurricane Sandy, a big, symbolic event is taking place on Friday morning.

At 8:00 on Friday morning, reconstruction of the Seaside Heights boardwalk will officially begin.

There will be a free event open to the public at The Beachcomber with music, refreshments, donation opportunities, as well as volunteers who can help if you're still in need of post-Sandy assistance.

As we look ahead to Memorial Day weekend only 100 days away, this is a huge step for Ocean County to continue rebuilding in anticipation of welcoming the crowds back for the summer. We hope to see you out there on Friday morning!
