According to a recent Patch article, the Super Foodtown in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown will close its doors before Halloween, and the grocery store will close its doors on October 24th.

Patch reported, "The Super Foodtown grocery store in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown will permanently close Oct. 24. The company, Circus Foodtown, announced this Thursday on their Facebook account. However, their liquor, wine and beer store will remain open in that shopping center."

Circus Foodtowns are owned by the Scaduto and Azzolina families. They have additional locations in Atlantic Highlands and Red Bank. In addition, they own the 52-acre Calico the Evil Clown property on Route. 35 in Middletown.

Did you shop at the Superfoodtown in Port Monmouth? The owners hope you will consider visiting their other locations in Monmouth County. "We are so thankful for the support and kindness this community has shown us over the years, and we truly hope to see you at our other locations in Atlantic Highlands and Red Bank."
