Point Pleasant Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Walk Postponed

With a serious storm expected to linger over the shore for the weekend, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Great Strides Walk in Point Pleasant Beach has been postponed.

According to WOBM meteorologist Dan Zarrow, in addition to pockets of heavy rain throughout the state, there is also the possibility of coastal and localized flooding.

Of course, I've talked many times about the personal importance of CFF's annual event to remember those who have lost their battle with CF, to support those still living with the disease, and to help in the ongoing efforts to find a cure for the genetic ailment.

The new date for the walk in Point Pleasant Beach is Saturday, June 10th.
