80s and 90s nostalgia is big these days. As a kid who grew up in the 80s and 90s, it's always fun to see people reminiscing about fun memories from my childhood. And Pizza Hut is getting in on the nostalgia train, asking adults to share their memories of their iconic "Book It!" program, to celebrate the 30th anniversary.

If you grew up during that time, or had kids who did, you probably remember the pizza chain's "get a personal pizza for reading" program.

We can probably debate all day long whether a cheesy calorie bomb is the best bribe to achieve literary milestones. But hey, if it gets kids to read, in the end, that's not such a bad thing, right?

So to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the "Book It!" program, Pizza Hut has started a "Book It! Alumni" program, where you can share your memories of turning pages in exchange for pepperoni pizza.

Did you or your kids participate in "Book It!" back in the day? Tell us about in the comments!
