The planned Panera Bread and Wawa were businesses that should've been ready to go in Brick last year, but of, course Covid-19 got in the way.

We were excited for these two along Rt. 70 in 2019. Finally, several weeks ago they started building the two of them next to each other.

There's one, Panera Bread in Ocean County at Rt. 37 in Toms River. It will be great to have another location in Ocean County.

If you're unfamiliar with Panera Bread, their main core is "food positivity". From their website, Panera Bread uses fresh, high-quality, and clean ingredients. Available options at Panera Bread: delicious sandwiches with their delicious slices of bread, flatbread pizzas, salads, kids meals, and more.

Some facts about Panera Bread, thanks to mentalfloss.com, Panera has a company mission "a loaf of bread in each arm". It's all about their bread. The bread bowls are the best. Fresh dough is delivered every day to their different locations throughout the country. Panera Bread was the first chain to post calorie information in their stores. At the end of the day, Panera gives away the uneaten bread "Day-End Dough-Nation" program, where they give it away where it is needed.

The new Wawa and Panera Bread are located at Rt. 70 in brick right past Duquesne Blvd.

Hopefully, soon these businesses will be open. Looks like they're moving pretty quickly on them, now.
