One of the Most Beautiful Towns at Christmas Time in New Jersey

It is less than three weeks until Christmas and families are looking for fantastic places to visit this holiday season and take in the beautiful spots that are on display here in the Garden State. It's no surprise this town is on my list of most beautiful at Christmas time in New Jersey.

When you look at some of the great Christmas towns here in Jersey you have to put Cape May on the list. The town shines during the holiday season and is a great place to visit for Christmas.

The first spot to visit when you go to see Cape May during the holidays is the beautiful church, Our Lady of the Sea. This Roman Catholic Church, originally St. Mary's Church, was built in 1848. It is a beautiful house of worship and is open to the public to visit and enjoy a look at Christmas at Our Lady of the Sea.

Another great place to visit at Christmas time in Cape May is the Emlen Physick Estate, a historic home that is always decorated and doing tours during the holidays. According to their website "Built in 1879, the 18-room mansion is an architectural wonder built by famed American architect Frank Furness and is one of the best examples of Victorian Stick Style architecture in the country."

This Victorian mansion is something to see and they do holiday tours so you can see the inside of this time capsule that takes you back nearly 150 years and definitely should be on your Christmas sightseeing visit to Cape May.

Another spot to hit is the downtown shopping mall where you can see lots of lights, shops, restaurants, and Christmas decor. Take a walk through Cape May at Christmas time it is one you will be glad you did.
