🚔 Ocean County Police Academy graduates 47 new recruits from class #114
🚔 The graduating officers will go to varying departments across Ocean County

Congratulations and well wishes are in order as 47 recruits have graduated from the Ocean County Police Academy's Basic Police Class #114 and will now head out on assignment, according to an announcement from the Ocean County Board of Commissioners.
There was a special ceremony held on Thursday at Georgian Court University where recruits not only graduated but other officers were also presented with awards.
On site at the graduation on the dais was Ocean County Commissioner Virginia Haines, Ocean County Sheriff Mike Mastronardy, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer, Stafford Township Police Chief Thomas Dellane who is also the 2023 President of the New Jersey Chiefs of Police Association, Barnegat Township Police Chief Keith Germain who is the 2023 President of the Ocean County Chiefs of Police Association and gave the keynote address.
They were joined by Rev. James Occhipinti and Ocean County Undersheriff Brian Klimakowski.

🔵 Charles J. Hanson - Jackson Township Police Department - James J. Tracey Leadership Award.
🔵 Royce J. Tucker - Point Pleasant Beach Police Department - PTC Merit Award.
🔵 Dylan M. Wisniewski - Seaside Heights Police Department - PTC Merit Award.
🔵 Matthew W. Parke - Manalapan Township Police Department - High Academic Award.
🔵 Hunter R. Simeon - Seaside Heights Police Department - High Overall Award and High Physical Fitness Award.
🔵 Matthew C. Hamilton - Little Egg Harbor Township Police Department - High Marksmanship Award.
In addition, there were 8 officers who received a perfect score in one or multiple qualifying firearm rounds.

“All of our recruits work hard to receive the badge of their respective police department,” Sheriff Mastronardy said in a statement. “We are very proud of each of these new officers. We know they will serve the community and the County well. We deeply appreciate the work of all of our academy instructors. They bring years of experience to the classroom.”
An Instructor Award was presented to Charles Webster with the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department and Mark Fabbricatore with Bayonne Police Department.
