This Tuesday, July 7th, is New Jersey's 2020 primary election.

While this year's primary is very different from in the past because of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, officials are trying to make it as easy as possible for voters across the state and here in Ocean County to participate.

Originally set for June 2nd, back in April Governor Phil Murphy moved the Garden State's primary date to July 7th.

But that doesn't mean that you should be lining up at your usual polling place, because of the pandemic, you should have gotten a mail-in ballot about two weeks ago.

Your mail-in ballot has to be in the mail by Tuesday night, it has to be postmarked by Tuesday, July 7th at 8:00 P.M.

Or, if you're going to be out and about on Tuesday, you can also drop your ballot in one of the 5 secure drop boxes that are spread out across the county.
