An ice cream empire is developing at the Jersey Shore.

What makes this creamery so special? They are Jersey Shore in the truest sense. Using only ingredients from local farmers and area artisans ensures that every scoop is fresh and full of flavor. The waffle cones are right off of the waffle maker and made to order.

The popularity of Nicholas Creamery is undeniable. They currently have two locations in Atlantic Highlands and Fair Haven that are always full of smiling faces with ice cream mustaches.

Due to popular demand, Nicholas Creamery is opening yet another location. This one will be in Falls Village in Tinton Falls, taking the place of Falls Village Dry Cleaners.

Expect an opening by the end of Spring.

If you've never had Nicholas Creamery, you're missing out! Here are the flavors that I've tried myself.

  • Booskerdoo Coffee Crunch (made with the Shore's own Booskerdoo coffee)
  • Hudson Cafe French Toast
  • Brown Sugar Cookie Dough
  • PeanutButterPalooza
  • Barrel & Roost Bourbon Coffee Chocolate Chunk

Nicholas' shakes are exceptional. My go-to is always the “Ooey Gooey Peanut Butter Milkshake." That's vanilla ice cream, homemade peanut butter sauce, peanut butter cups, whipped cream, hot fudge drizzle, whipped cream, and a cherry on top of course.

Last but not least, any legit ice cream parlor has to have amazing sundaes. Celebrating a birthday? You must have the “Go Shorty… It’s Your Birthday” sundae with chocolate ice cream, rainbows and clouds ice cream, chocolate cookie crumbs, hot fudge, whipped cream, and cherry.

Good luck to the Nicholas Creamery crew on their third location! More ice cream options are always a good thing.
