What Are The Qualification Requirements For The Senior Freeze Program?
According to a recent Patch report, "To qualify for New Jersey’s Senior Freeze program, applicants or their spouses must have been at least 65 years old by Dec. 31, 2025, or receiving eligible federal disability benefits by that date. Homeowners must have owned and lived in their residence since at least Dec. 31, 2022, remained there through Dec. 31, 2025, and had a total annual income of no more than $168,268 in 2024 and $172,475 in 2025."
According to reports here in New Jersey, the first of the Senior Freeze payments began rolling out to roughly 188,000 residents.
