It’s a Roller Coaster Ride for Homebuyers In New Jersey as Home Sales Slip
The American Dream of owning a home means achieving stability, independence, and success through having a place to call your own, a symbol of hard work paying off, and a foundation for a better life.

It's like the saying "There is no place like home," and that's the truth, and why buying a home for some means so much. If you are one of the folks who want to own a home, then you know how important it is to you.
Homebuyers are pumping the brakes in New Jersey?
According to a recent Patch article, home sales are currently slipping here in the Garden State. "Prospective home buyers in New Jersey and most of the country are waiting for mortgage rates to drop before making offers, despite an abundant housing supply that gives them a negotiating edge, according to a new report on September home sales."
Home buyers are pumping the brakes until they get word on mortgage rates. It would appear prospective buyers want to avoid buying and then seeing lower rates right after they sign. This is probably something every homebuyer considers before signing on the dotted line.

In the Patch article, they noted, "The slow market favors buyers, and that may give house hunters leverage to negotiate lower prices and other concessions."
Are you thinking of buying a home in New Jersey? Have you held off because of mortgage rates and want to wait until they come down?
The article added, "Buyers who want to make a deal should consider condos. The report said there are 72 percent more condo sellers than buyers nationwide, a bigger gap than for other home types."
If you are considering buying a home, of any type, contact a qualified realtor for more information and data. Do your homework, it's probably the biggest purchase you will make in your life, or until you move and buy another new home.
