It's been cold in New Jersey this week.

How cold?

Record cold.

With the early November temperatures taking a dive to start this week, the National Weather Service pointed out the new record lows that were hit across the area so far this week:

As you can see, the record low for Tuesday has stood for two years, with 2017 bringing us a low temperature for November 12th of 28 degrees at Newark Airport.

That was broken yesterday by 3 degrees, with thermometers dipping to 25 degrees.

The Wednesday record (November 13th) has stood even longer than that, with the coldest temperature hanging on for 33 years after 1986 brought 24 degrees to the 13th.

This morning though, a 22 degree start to the day reset the record for November 13th.

It'll be another really cold one tonight and into early tomorrow, but the 21 degree record, also from 1986, for November 14th will probably hang on.
