New Jersey Festival Of Ballooning Saved – Will Go Ahead In July

Great news - the New Jersey Festival of Ballooning has been saved.

Back in December, we told you about the situation up in Hunterdon County - with QuickChek pulling out of its decades-old relationship with the hot air balloon event, it might be shelved for 2020.

Jump forward almost exactly two months, and word has spread in the last two days that the festival has been rescued by a new sponsor.

Our sister station New Jersey 101.5 reports that festival officials are planning an announcement for next week, hinting that a new title sponsor has been secured and the balloons will indeed take to the skies over Readington, from July 24 - 26, 2020.

Once the announcement of the new sponsor has been made and tickets go on sale, we'll let you know!
