According to a recent Patch article did you know that "the 400 richest billionaires in America are worth $4.5 trillion, tying a record set in 2021." That's a pretty good chuck on change. About 13.6 % of the nation's debt. The new Forbes list of richest Americans features 3 billionaires from New Jersey.

As far as the richest individual in the world? Well, Elon Musk holds that title with over two hundred and fifty billion dollars in worth. The Tesla and SpaceX founder tops the wealthiest list for a second year in a row. But what about here in New Jersey?

Here in New Jersey our wealthiest resident is billionaire Rocco Commisso. The Telecom billionaire comes in at #114 on the Forbes 400 list. Commisso has an estimated 8 billion dollars in wealth.
