My View of the Amazing Kites at Kite Fest at Jenkinson’s in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ

The event is Kite Fest and it's happening today (8/2/22) from 11 am to 5 pm. Wind Wolves along with a wide range of pro kite fliers will perform on the beach at Jenkinson's Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach.

If you have never seen these giant kites on the beach you are missing out on a fun summer event here at the Jersey Shore. These kites are gigantic and so colorful, that it's a must-see each summer at Jenkinson's.

There is something about kites and the beach. It's the best place, in my opinion, to fly a kite. You have plenty of space, soft beach sand to run on, beautiful views of the ocean, and most importantly lots of wind. The wind is the key to flying kites and you usually have good winds along the ocean, so it's a great spot to fly your kite. Whether it's a small two-stick kite or a giant floating kite like the ones at Kite Fest, they are all fun and a great thing to do in summer.
