More Fallout From Apparent Old Bridge Murder-Suicide
The surviving children of a couple who died in what New Jersey law enforcement officials are calling an apparent murder-suicide have been placed in the temporary custody of relatives.
The girls are ages 20 months and 5 years. They emerged unscathed Friday morning from an upstate New York motel where police later found their father, Anthony Trapp, dead on a bed in his room of an apparent suicide.
New Jersey authorities found the body of Trapp’s ex-wife, Heather Trapp, in his home in Old Bridge on Thursday.
The Middlesex County medical examiner’s office has determined Heather Trapp was stabbed multiple times and classifies her death as a homicide.
Anthony Trapp’s cause of death hasn’t been released.
