10 Monmouth County, NJ Essentials You’d Miss Dearly if You Left

Have you been thinking about leaving Monmouth County?  Those crazy and fun Bar A nights will have you saying "think again."

A couple of months ago, I shared that I spend a lot of time on the West Coast for projects I'm involved in, and I always end up missing a lot of things about New Jersey.  I gave you 10 essential items you'd miss dearly if you left New Jersey.  Well, I started thinking more, and I realized there are so many things I miss about Monmouth County in itself!

How could you live without this Monmouth County classic, The Stone Pony?

Sometimes we truly forget just how lucky we are to live where we do.  There's ALWAYS something going on here at the Jersey Shore.  We've got great boardwalks, great food, multiple concert venues, and amazing nightlife!  Not to mention the shopping - it's unlike anything else.  I can't tell you how many hours I've spent in the Freehold Raceway Mall...

Another hint: you'll have to let the fact that Rook coffee has locations outside Monmouth County slide because it started there first!  Some of the things on my list are just irreplaceable (number 1 might just be my favorite).

So the next time you're tempted to move away from Monmouth County, or the Jersey hore, give it another thought.  It's human to be bothered by things like the weather, or even taxes.  But is a life without that really worth giving up life with these amazing Monmouth County, NJ essentials?
