
Member of the Crips Street Gang from Manchester, NJ arrested for dealing heroin in Ocean County, NJ
An alleged member of the Crips Street Gang who resides in Manchester Township has been arrested and charged for his role in the distribution of heroin across northern Ocean County.
Manchester Police announced the arrest Wednesday morning of 27-year-old Eugene Ayala Jr. who was identified as being involved in selling heroin in this northern area of Ocean County by the Manchester Township Police Department's Narcotics Enforcement Team.
It was on Tuesday that the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team and the Manchester Police Investigations Bureau executed court authorized search warrants for a residence and vehicle within the Suncrest Village Apartment Complex which were being used to store the heroin.
When Detectives combed through the residence, they found an undisclosed quantity of illegally obtained Percocet tablets, a fully loaded Glock handgun containing hollow point ammunition, and drug paraphernalia consistent, police said, with drug distribution.
It was at this point that Ayala Jr. was arrested and then later charged with Possession of Percocet, Second Degree Certain Persons Not to Possess a Firearm, Possession of Hollow Point Ammunition and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Following his arrest and processing at Manchester Police headquarters, Ayala Jr. was then brought to the Ocean County Jail under the guidance of New Jersey's Bail Reform Laws.
Manchester Police said that they were also assisted in this investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force.
