Meet the Newest Cuteness Overload at the Popcorn Park Zoo in Forked River, NJ
We love when the Popcorn Park Rescue Zoo rescues a brand new little angel and this one is an amazing animal.
The Popcorn Rescue Zoo is an amazing place home to wildlife, farm animals, birds, and other animals who suffered cruelty, injury, illness, handicap, old age, and animals and birds that could not be safely returned to the wild.

I've been to the Popcorn Park Zoo many times. I love visiting the zoo, from feeding the peacocks, and seeing the wonderful animals and the awesome people that work at the zoo. It's the perfect place in the Pine Barrens of Ocean County and is now home to over 200 animals and birds.
So many of you support the refuge through monetary donations and food and blankets for the animals up for adoption, looking for their forever homes. The Popcorn Park Zoo is located at 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ. Their phone number is 609-693-1900.
John Bergman, animal expert and best friend to the animals at the Popcorn Zoo recently wrote this on Facebook and I had to share it...
Avaya, a young African Green monkey, was being kept illegally so Fish & Wildlife needed somewhere for her to go. Once we saw the little girl we gladly said Yes! She’s a real sweetheart. We picked her up at a vet’s office where she was being held and brought her back to her new home. She’s doing really well, loves engaging with staff and dinner time seems to be her favorite meal. She looks carefully at her dinner dish and moves her food around to find what she wants first, usually the cooked sweet potatoes, grapes, and pasta are next, and so on down the line. You can sponsor her through our Wildlife Club Program. You will receive updates, letters from her, and pictures plus a membership card that provides free entry to the park so you can visit her. CLICK HERE to sponsor this little girl.
