Police in Manchester Township need your help finding the vehicle and driver responsible for striking a utilty pole which spilled wires across the road late Monday night.

The driver did leave behind somewhat of a trail after fleeing the scene.

Manchester Police said that during their on-scene investigation after arriving on scene, around 11:07 pm at the intersection of Commonwealth Boulevard and Champlain Street, they were able to spot and follow a trail of fluid starting on Commonwealth and continuing to Beacon Street where it stopped.

There were also several parts left behind from a vehicle, including a front bumper from what police believe belongs to a 2016-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup-truck, after running one of the serial numbers printed on the part.

The wires down across the roadway and severed utilty pole base, led police to close down Commonwealth Boulevard between Champlain Street and Northampton Boulevard, for public safety.

If you have any information on this late night crash, you're asked to contact the Manchester Township Police Department.

The accident is being investigated by Ptl. Diaz.
