It is one of the biggest "Grand Openings" in recent memory in Southern Ocean County. The Grand Opening of the beautiful new Saker Shop Rite is happening tomorrow (Wednesday, 2/4/26) in Manahawkin.

Festivities begin tomorrow at 7 am. The long-awaited supermarket's opening is officially set for February 4th. at 733 Route 72 West. This is the former K-Mart location in Stafford Township that has been converted into a state-of-the-art Shop Rite.

When Is The New Manahawkin Shop Rite Opening?

The ribbon cutting will be held on Wednesday at 7 a.m., and according to reports, "Members of the Saker family, owners and operators of Saker ShopRites, and their retail team will greet customers as they enter the new store, with the first 200 customers in line receiving special grocery gift bags filled with product samples and coupons."

92.7 WOBM will be on hand for the festivities, and we will be there on location from 11-1, stop and say hi for chances to win fun swag, and we will be entering folks for a chance to win tickets to see Bon Jovi at Madison Square Garden in New York City this summer.
