List of Ocean County “Scary” Halloween Front Yards

This is something my neighbors and I started doing several years ago.

We love packing everyone in the car and drive around looking for Halloween lights around the neighborhood and beyond. We probably started this tradition about 6 years ago and it gets better and better every year. Our teenage kids still jump in the car with us. When driving around looking at lights, I think Christmas, but within the last couple of years, Halloween decorations have really become amazing, especially the last two years.

I've checked out all of these fantastic places. I love when people go all out for everyone's enjoyment. I have to tell you, some of these on this list are "scary".

Here's one more that I just went to this weekend, it's not scary but totally worth your time. It's called the "Not So Spooky Halloween Light Show" at 184 Yellowbank Road in Toms River.

From clowns to skeletons, and scary pumpkins, it's everything you want to see for a "scare" for Halloween. The kids will love this and it's free.

Just remember a couple of things due to Covid-19, if you get out of your car remember to wear your mask and social distance. Also, please try not to beep or scream in front of someone's home. I have to be honest, I'm sorry if you heard a scream, it was probably me.
