Clean-ups here at the Shore are always fun, even for the teenagers in the house.

This year Earth Day falls on Thursday, April 22nd, 2021. To get a little bit of a start many towns and beaches are asking for help for clean-ups. Every year, I make sure to take my trash bag and head out to help. This is a great way to help out the community if you can.

The Barnegat Branch is amazingly beautiful. If you hop on the trail with your bike or walking, you notice just how beautiful the trail is. The Rotary Club of Barnegat is hosting a clean-up of the Barnegat Branch Trail this Sunday, April 18th, 2021.

The clean-up of the trail begins at 10 am. With Earth Day being Thursday April 22nd, it's the perfect day to clean up a little piece of the earth, here in Ocean County. The Rotary Club of Barnegat's Facebook page: "Come join us this Sunday for our service project honoring Earth Day 2021. Have any kids who need service hours to complete? Send them our way!"

If you've never done one of these clean-ups it's real easy. If you have any trash bags you can bring them and rubber gloves. If you don't have any, no need to bring any, they will supply you with what you need.

The Rotary Club of Barnegat will be meeting at the Barnegat entrance of the trail at Memorial Drive in Barnegat.
