Lakewood man dealing Cocaine across Ocean County found with 165 grams, $6,000 in cash
A Lakewood man allegedly dealing cocaine across Ocean County is facing a number of charges after investigators found him in possession of 165 grams of the narcotic along with $6,000 in cash.
Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced Wednesday the conclusion of a two-month investigation run by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force and the Lakewood Police Street Crimes Unit.
Detectives and officers with those law enforcement agencies as well as the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team and Ocean County Sheriff's K-9 Unit searched two residences identified during the course of the investigation, with court-authorized search warrants, being used to store and distribute ccoaine.
It all led to the arrest of Ranyer Meyreles-Alvarado, 29, of Lakewood who was pulled over at a motor vehicle stop in Lakewood on April 17.
Meyreles-Alvarado was charged with Possession of Cocaine in an Amount Greater than Five Ounces with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He was taken into custody, processed at Lakewood Police Headquarters and then transported to the Ocean County Jail where he was realized on April 19 as a consequence of the New Jersey Bail Reform law.
