Lakehurst Police find “Molly” and Urine at traffic stop

Two Ocean County residents were pulled over for having a faulty brake lamp, but police in Lakehurst placed them under arrest after they found "molly" in the car, along with a hypodermic needle, drug paraphernalia and a bottle of urine, that was going to be sold by one of the car's occupants to a friend to pass a drug test.

Adrienne L. Hreha, 30, of South Toms River was the driver and Frances G. Ostroff, 36, of Whiting was the passenger in the car that was pulled over around 3:15 pm on Sunday June 3 near Route 70 and Center Street.

An on scene investigation led to a probable cause search of the vehicle and occupants.

A search of the car by police found a quantity of MDMA (Molly), a Hypodermic Needle, Drug Paraphernalia and a bottle of urine.

Hreha was processed and charged with Possession of MDMA and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was issued two motor vehicle summonses for Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle and Maintenance of Lamps.

Ostroff, meanwhile, admitted that she was going to sell the bottle of urine to a friend in order for that friend to pass a drug test.

She was processed and charged with Possession of MDMA, Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Distribution of Urine with the Intent to Defraud a Drug Test.

Both were issued warrants for the charges and transported to the Ocean County Jail where they were lodged pending a mandatory court date with the Ocean County Superior Court.

The public is reminded that all criminal charges are merely accusations and all subjects are innocent until proven guilty.
