Sixty-one-year-old Kenneth Moeller had a leg amputated after suffering other severe injuries Monday night, according to Lacey Patch.com.

Ocean Township Patrolman Kyle Flatt noticed what appeared to be a person on the hood of a car. He stopped 33-year-old Marcos Ortega near Dolphin Way and realized it was a person sticking halfway through the windshield. Police said Ortega drove for 1.5 miles with the victim.
