The  body of a juvenile has reportedly  washed up on a beach in Margate

There is no confirmation so far it’s the body of Khitan Devine of Philadelphia who disappeared in rough waters off Martin Luther King Boulevard on Sunday night after life guards had gone off duty.

 

 

 

 

Margate Fire Chief Anthony Tabasso tells The Press of Atlantic City the body appears to be a juvenile. Hewould not release any other information. Lifeguards spotted the body around 11:15AM Wednesday morning.

The search covered 85 square miles from Atlantic City down to Longport.Coast Guard and Atlantic City Fire & rescue crews searched for the boy Sunday night and most of Monday before officially calling off the search late Monday afternoon.

The missing  boy’s stepmother, Rosemary Brown, said she, Devine and her daughetr were met with a strong current while swimming “It was a current that pulled us under,” Rosemary Brown told WPVI TV.  A shaken Brown says Good Samaritans managed to get to her and her daughter.
