Remember when everyone was wondering “Who shot J.R.?”  "Dallas," the show with one of the most talked-about cliffhangers in television history, has returned to the airwaves on
TNT.  J.R. Ewing , SueEllen, and Bobby are back with a new generation living in and around SouthFork Ranch.

Larry Hagman graces the cover of this week's "Entertainment Weekly" magazine.  The article references J.R's "triumphant" return, and the show's impressive ratings.  In addition to Hagman and other original cast members Patrick Duffy and Linday Gray, the new cast consists of recognizable faces
(and voices.)  Jesse Metcalf plays Bobby's adopted son.  He's the actor who played Gabby’s favorite landscaper on "Desperate Housewives."  And speaking of "Housewives," you know the voice that opened and closed the beginning of every episode?  It belongs to actor Brenda Strong who now plays Bobby's third wife.

Since "Desperate Housewives" is no longer on the air and other great hour-long dramas like "Mad Men" have ended their seasons, this new night-time soap has become the new weekly guilty pleasure for millions of viewers.  Will you be watching tonight?
