Jolly Jake is Our Pet of the Week
Tail wagging Jake is this week's Pet of the Week and ready for his forever home!
Jake is a bouncy and beautiful redbone coonhound that is just over a year old and is so excited at the thought of having a great home. It seems that Jake never had a good home, by the looks of him when he arrived. He was just skin and bones and had lots of old bites on him too. Jake doesn't let his past get him down though and a happier boy will be hard to find. Since Jake was starving at some point in his life, he is quite anxious when it's time to eat. He's not aggressive with food, just very eager to eat! He is very outgoing and he makes friends instantly. Jake is playful, active and fun-loving, and he has a real hound-dog nose that will lead him in all directions while out for a walk, so he needs a little training with that. He can be a little jumpy while playing so a home with no young kids would be best, but he likes other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats either. He's a real comedian that will keep you laughing and having fun every day if you welcome him into your family.
