Join Tom’s Retreat For Veterans in Tuckerton For Patriot’s PT with Rebecca Rouse
I love keeping you at home up to date on what's happening right here at the Jersey Shore and the fantastic fundraisers that are happening here at the Shore. This particular event is a benefit for our wonderful area Veterans. The event is being brought to you by Tom's Retreat and Lady Blue and Gold.
If you are not familiar with Tom's Retreat it is the work of local resident Thomas Sherwood a proud Vietnam War Veteran. Mr. Sherwood founded his "retreat" to benefit area veterans. As posted on their website "At Tom's Retreat Veterans Foundation, a Non-Profit Organization, our mission is to generate awareness and show appreciation for one of America’s most unsung groups of patriots — Vietnam War veterans. Our founder, Thomas Sherwood, is a Vietnam War veteran who knows firsthand how poorly his fellow soldiers were treated when they returned home to the nation they risked their lives for."
There will be an upcoming benefit that will feature a "Patriot's PT" led by renowned physical trainer Rebecca Rouse. The event takes place Sunday, July 31st.
All proceeds will help benefit both Veterans and First Responders in Need!
