I hate what's happening on our roadways.  People are driving like they think they're in a video game.  During my recent trip to Weehawken I saw several cars dart in and out of traffic.  They seemed determined to get ahead by moving into any open space they saw, no matter what lane.  I'm really concerned because I've seen the video games that make drivers feel invincible!  In the games the players can have an accident then hit "reset" and come right back to life.  In real life, there's a true risk of injury or death!

The back and forth movement is annoying enough, but to do this without signalling?  That's inconsiderate.  And idiotic.  Please allow me to vent.  Driving is stressful enough.  Why must people show off what they believe to be racecar driver skills when the rest of us are driving safely?  This isn't a racetrack.  It's the Jersey Turnpike.  They should know that their bad manners could put them and others in a dangerous situation.

It's a basic communication principle.  I'd gladly let you in front of me if you just tell me that's where you want to be.  Flip the indicator switch because I can't read your mind!

Does it take too much time or energy to signal?  Does the clicking noise bother you?  Non-signallers, please help me understand why you don't indicate your intentions.

Thank you.  And thanks for letting me vent.
