Jersey Shore Covid-19 Positive Cases Summary

As the Covid-19 Coronavirus Pandemic continues our Townsquare Media Jersey Shore News Team will continue to post a report of all the cases coming out of Monmouth and Ocean County to help give an idea of where we've been and where we are currently sitting at the Jersey Shore.

There have been 17,221 positive cases in Ocean County since the Covid-19 Pandemic began and as of Friday afternoon November 6, as reported by the Ocean County Health Department since cases began being reported in March of 2020.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Ocean County over the past week:

Saturday October 31: 125 new cases reported bringing total to 16,810.
Sunday November 1: 70 new cases reported bringing total to 16,880.
Monday November 2: 54 new cases reported bringing total to 16,934.
Tuesday November 3: 53 new cases reported bringing total to 16,987.
Wednesday November 4: 91 new cases reported bringing total to 17,078.
Thursday November 5: 68 new cases reported bringing total to 17,146.
Friday November 6: 75 new cases reported bringing total to 17,221.

In Monmouth County there have been 15,616 positive cases since the Covid-19 Pandemic began and as of Friday afternoon November 6, as reported by Monmouth County Freeholder Director Tom Arnone and Freeholder Deputy Director Sue Kiley and since cases began being reported in March of 2020.
