People eat a lot more crab than you may think, especially during the summer. It’s one of those foods that people look forward to when the weather gets warm. Whether it’s crab legs at a seafood spot, crab cakes, or a backyard seafood feast, crab has become a summer favorite. Around New Jersey, seafood season and summer just seem to go hand in hand.

Personally, I love "garlic crabs". One of my favorites for this dish is in South Seaside Park at Bum Rogers. They make a "garlic crab" dish that is truly a feast, and it's delicious. If you are looking for a real crab treat, try their "garlic crabs" and be prepared to roll your sleeves up and wear a bib lol.

I came across a survey by Tripadvisor of the best spots for crab legs at the Jersey Shore. The list gave some of the best restaurants at the Jersey Shore serving crab. These spots are all over the Shore, and I thought I'd focus on the top choice, but also give you the TOP 15 at the Shore.

Where Can You Find The Best Crab Legs At The Jersey Shore?

According to Tripadvisor, the best crab legs are on Long Beach Island at Ship Bottom Shellfish. "Ship Bottom Shellfish is a family-owned seafood haven in Ship Bottom, New Jersey, serving fresh Atlantic catches since 1984."

Ship Bottom Shellfish had the highest rating, 4.4, with over 330 reviews submitted. Tripadvisor added, "Their menu features local favorites like jumbo lump crab cakes, celebrated for their generous size and minimal filler."
