'Tis the season of giving.

I love giving gifts.

I love coming up with personal gifts that will make the recipient smile, so Christmas time is my favorite time of the year.

Well, that and I love Christmas lights.

One of my favorite gifts I have ever received was concert tickets to see Jessica Simpson when I was in high school.

She was opening up for Rascal Flatts at Madison Square Garden in, I think, 2007 or 2008.

Jessica Simpson has always been my favorite singer so I was so excited to go. I still have the concert T-shirt I bought that night.

In second place would probably be the tickets I got to see Taylor Swift on her Speak Now tour. It was my first time seeing Taylor so it will always be memorable.

Like the Jessica Simpson concert, I went with my mom so it also created a fond memory.

One of my favorite gifts I have ever given was a vintage school bag for my dad that looked just like the one he had. It was like a messenger bag or briefcase. He loved it.
