I live and surf in Belmar. I won't lie, I took one look at the ocean that day and knew it was best for me to sit out. 15-20 ft waves... only the best can handle those conditions! After spending a day at work, I simply wasn't mentally prepared to handle massive 44-degree waves...

However, a few Jersey Shore surfing greats made the most of it...

What about the surfers?

There are a handful of great Jersey Shore surfers but the two that stick out the most are Ben Gravy & Rob Kelly. These professionals live the dream and they really do an awesome job putting New Jersey on the map for surfing. The Jersey Shore surfing community is very thankful to have these dudes represent all of us. Cheers fellas!
