I swear, the older I get, the more I genuinely enjoy going to the grocery store. Once I have a family of my own, I’m sure it’ll become more of a chore than a fun shopping experience, but for now, I love walking around and finding new and fun snacks to try out.

Some called out the lack of fresh food:

"The veal was terrible-grissily and fatty! Besides that the prices are CRAZY high! I don't know why anyone shops here," Judy, a local Yelp reviewer, wrote on February 20, 2024.

Others called out the store's cleanliness and staffing issues:

"The floors are filthy, the parking lot is always a mess, (the) store is never in good shape and the produce never looks appetizing," Kirsten H. wrote back in January 2019.

"I went to check out with one lane open and no cashier. I shrugged my shoulders and (an)  employee came over and started mocking me and giggling. Needless to say I left and won't be back. They should just close this store, obviously don't care," Kevin N. wrote on Yelp.

However, the store still had its fair share of positive reviews.

In fact, 8 of the 46 total reviews on Yelp are 5 stars. In fact, here's one from February 20 (via Mary L. In West Mifflin, Pa). She wrote:

"I go to Giant Eagle in White Oak I just love the store I get the best prices and reduced items I have no complaints the people who work there are very helpful if you need any help."

As always, take this kind of information with a bit of a grain of salt because those are VERY different reviews.
