Absecon, which has a median Home Value of $192,900, was one of seven New Jersey cities that made the list.

Absecon is a shore town and one of the cheapest places for renters to live in New Jersey. It’s also 15 minutes away from the boardwalk and ocean, making it perfect for beach lovers.

Absecon, which is situated in Atlantic County right outside of Atlantic City, is a close drive to everything.  You can cruise down the White Horse Pike for a night out in AC or quickly get on the Expressway to get to a game up in Philly.

What Absecon has to offer

There are plenty of restaurants and shopping in Absecon and you are close to Historic Smithville, which offers plenty of shopping at the Smithville Shoppes, which contains over 50 shops.

Absecon also offers a great bike path for bicyclists, runners, and walkers who can use the shaded one-mile path that stretches from Morton Avenue to Pitney Road.

There are also plenty of recreational facilities for their football, baseball, lacrosse, and other teams, they have activities for residents, a boat ramp, and plenty of community events.
