It’s pretty hard to be an attraction here in New Jersey and fly under the radar. Tons of people visit and enjoy the Garden State, and those of us who live here, we’re not exactly good at keeping secrets. So how can an attraction in New Jersey land in the “underrated” category?

It’s a good question, and to find the most underrated attraction in New Jersey, Good Housekeeping had to travel to a spot that is literally almost out of the state entirely.

And, it’s worth mentioning that many of us might list 20 New Jersey attractions and not list this, mainly because most people might not consider it an attraction at all, but when you think about it, it really is.

The choice for the most underrated attraction is not Six Flags Great Adventure or Jenkinson’s Boardwalk. It’s the Cape May Ferry. It really is such a simple pleasure.

With all the hype some spots in New Jersey get, this is a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the state. And anywhere you can relax in New Jersey qualifies as an attraction I guess.

If you don't get down to the most southern part of the state, or even if you do, but haven't tried this great ferry yet, it's certainly a very cool experience that the whole family will love.

You can get all the details on what the Cape May Lewes Ferry offers at their website. Grab a great meal and enjoy the gorgeous view.
