There's no doubt about it, over the past few years, Target has easily become one of the most popular retailers in New Jersey, and likely the entire country. It's one of those places where you go in with a small list of things you need and end up going way over budget. That's just the magic of Target.

Granted, I'm more of a Walmart guy, just because I'm a big smoker, and Walmart has a solid selection of Pork Butts, Ribs, and Briskets at a fairly reasonable price.

However, at Target, you feel classy when you're shopping there. And now, the company has announced that this month it's opening two new locations in the Garden State, and even though one of Jersey's new Targets is smaller than the average store, it should still pack a powerful punch.

Where Is Target Opening 2 New Stores In New Jersey?

Jersey City and West Orange are soon to be home to the newest Targets in New Jersey, and they offer a lot for shoppers.

The store at Journal Square in Jersey City is going to be smaller, at only 40 thousand square feet, but is supposed to be closer to major public transportation and features a CVS and a Starbucks, according to Pix 11. 

The Target in West Orange will be bigger, at around 150 thousand square feet, and will also feature a CVS and a Starbucks.

When Will The Jersey City Target And West Orange Target Open In NJ?

Both of these new NJ Targets will be open to the public on March 15th, bringing the total number of Target stores in NJ up to roughly 55.
